Southeastern Michigan Veterans Stand Down Event

🕘 Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The UAW Region 1 Veterans Council proudly invites veterans to participate in the Annual Southeastern Michigan Veterans Stand Down Event.

This two-day event is free of charge for veterans and will provide access to essential services and resources.

On-Site Services

Representatives from the following organizations will be available:

• U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
• Veterans Health Administration
• Detroit VA Healthcare System

Services include:
✔️ Health screenings
✔️ Assistance with benefits
✔️ Community resource support
✔️ Special Service: On Wednesday, September 24, WAHL will be providing complimentary haircuts and beard trimming for veterans.

Registration Details

• Veterans: Must register by 1:00 p.m. each day.
• Volunteers: Must register at 7:30 a.m. each day.
  • Volunteers are needed for set-up and breakdown each day.
